Position Summary
We are prayerfully seeking a Senior Pastor who will faithfully preach God’s Word, shepherd the congregation, and provide spiritual leadership. This is currently a bi-vocational position, as the church is not able to provide full-time compensation at this time.
Primary Responsibilities
- Preach Bible-based, Christ-centered sermons
- Provide pastoral care, prayer, and biblical guidance
- Lead and oversee church services and ordinances (baptism and the Lord’s Supper)
- Work with deacons and ministry leaders to guide the church
- Encourage outreach, evangelism, discipleship, and missions
- Clear testimony of salvation and a strong walk with Christ
- Clear calling to pastoral ministry
- Agreement with Independent Fundamental Baptist doctrine and convictions
- Ordained (or eligible for ordination)
- Proven ability in preaching, teaching, and leadership
Compensation is limited and based on church ability. This role is currently bi-vocational.
